Biography      

Ben is a Senior Researcher in Engineering at the Netwell Centre and CASALA. Ben completed his studies in electrical engineering at Stanford University in the United States. Ben’s interests include human computer interface design, sensor systems for independent living; direct measurement of emotion and creative environments for persons with disabilities.  Ben has worked as a lecturer and a Professor at a number of universities in the US as well as Ireland.  Ben enjoys the Irish countryside, and at weekends often goes rambling with other walkers.
