Biography:
|
Verity is from Northern Ireland, she studied at Queen's University, Belfast where she completed a BSc in architecture in 2007. She worked in a local architecture firm on various projects and international competitions; including healthcare, leisure and education buildings. In 2010 she completed the postgraduate degree in architecture, with a thesis focusing on healthcare. Following this, she commenced a PhD within architecture. Her research interests include design for dementia and improving wayfinding. From November 2011 to February 2012 she will be on secondment to Rome working within the Centre for Science Society and Citizenship as part of the Value Ageing Project.
